Our Motto:

"It doesn't matter how slow I move forward, as long as I don't stop"

Ferdinand Effah Music Heritage Foundation is a non-profit charity organization that is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria (Reg. Number: 174145) to help develop and support people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) into self-relevancy, majorly through the engagement of music as a focal therapy.

The idea behind the establishment of the foundation was prompted out of the character and personality of the person of Master Ferdinand Effah who was diagnosed of ASD at an early age of two; and has since then been battling the situation (relentlessly) despite not having considerable success, until the introduction of music, where his passion to listening has always lie, ever since the family became members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Conveying music into his career path was not just to make him listen, but to get him play; and playing it especially to the listening of an audience that could assess and appreciate the values he brings in terms of patience, resilience, commitment, and hard work, despite the odds.

With the introduction of music as a focal therapy, he gradually developed passion (to play) from one stage to another, until a period where that passion became stable; and from stable, it became strength, and from strength, it has remained a formula in his battle against ASD.

Today! We are full of joy with the stride he has made within the period of his journey in the battle against ASD by the stable passion he was able to develop in music, as he signals hope to several others in similar state of concern.

Let us pave way for more AUTISTIC children like Ferdinand Effah.
