THE FEMHF AUTISM AWARENESS & ACCEPTANCE YEARLY ANNUAL EVENT / PROJECT
As a music heritage foundation committed to promoting awareness and acceptance for autism in Nigeria, FEMHF has officially announced its commitment to annually organize live musical concerts in every 2nd day of April to celebrate World Autism Day and the uniqueness and contributions of autistic people to the larger Nigerian society. The core objective which is to providing a forum where autistic people and their families can easily socialize with the larger society and highlight the big things the larger society should know, appreciate, understand and accept about autistic people and their families.
At this annual event, FEMHF looks forward to inviting popular Nigerian household name musical artists to perform live in our every organized world autism awareness and acceptance day proposed musical concert party, alongside our foundation’s brand “FERDY’S BAND”, with any other autistic persons or groups that has developed the requisite skills to playing music.
This yearly organized event would be expected to further create avenue for the foundation to raise charity funds to supporting autistic people born into families of poor homes that can not afford the high cost of autism therapy and treatments.
The event can also further raise charity funds for scholarship to enhance skills and capacity of compassionate caregivers within the autism supportive workforce management. This is especially to equip and expand the ratio of qualified autism caregivers in Nigeria.
Therefore, production of autism awareness banners, T-shirts and face caps, including logistic support for the would be volunteers, and the road walk talk-the-talk campaigners; among several other things…
