Ferdy’s Fashion House is a designer, producer, and promoter of high-quality fashion that serves both individuals and families affected by autism, as well as those who are not. As a key initiative of the Ferdinand Effah Music Heritage Foundation (FEMHF)— Ferdy’s Fashion House advances meaningful awareness and acceptance for people and families impacted by autism through its fashion-forward approach. The platform showcases the capabilities and aspirations of autistic individuals, highlighting opportunities in fashion design, modelling, crafts, skills development, and entertainment. Ferdy’s Fashion House also acts as a bridge, introducing broader society to the profitable and culturally rich field of autism-inclusive fashion, rooted in African heritage. This initiative draws inspiration from the journey of Ferdinand Effah, representing an autistic individual who demonstrates confidence and self-expression through style—challenging societal misconceptions about autism. Ferdy’s Fashion House not only offers distinctive clothing but also promotes a positive sense of identity and belonging, reflected through vibrant colours and inclusive designs.

Product offerings:

We  produce men and women apparels inspired by Nigerian and African heritage, created to promote autism awareness and acceptance.

We also produce fashion accessories including caps, hats, berets, earrings, bracelets, rings, necklaces, wristbands, beaded items, watches, bags, and simple footwear—all designed with influences from Nigerian and African traditions.

Core activities:

1. We design costumes.
2. We produce and package designed items into final products.
3. We offer a modelling platform for autistic individuals to showcase our Fashion House creations.
4. We provide skills training for autistic children to produce a range of fashion house products.
5. We host quarterly gallery events to display works specially made by autistic individuals, for public viewing and support.

• We hold weekly fashion photoshoot at least with one autistic child or adult.
• We collaborate with fashion designers and industries to expand opportunities.
• We provide catwalk platforms for emerging autistic children interested  in fashion modelling.
• We sell created fashion clothing to offer support for families affected by autism.
• We secure and seek sponsorships.
